I was never all that for the retention of Manuel as manager, and I think we can all see why.
It doesn't help that the roster is a shambles (that Ramon Martinez is even wearing a major league baseball uniform tells you something), and that the Mets have this crazy habit of flying players all over the country before finally putting them on the DL. I guess they need the frequent flyer miles or something.
Thank goodness we get to see Santana pitch every fifth game. The guy's amazing.
You might want to put a (FIRED) next to Bowden's name, so we now know that Omar Minaya is the 5th worst GM in baseball. (Ricciardi will probably not survive the season and Omar will be 4th, unless you put Gilick in first. He sucks pretty hard too.)
