It's not very good, is it?
Here's something to cheer you up - L Millz is hitting .329/.401/.508 with seven homers and 10 steals since July 31. Oh wait, that probably isn't going to help.
Not ahhhhhhh... I think this is more like it.
buck up peterson, you can't drag this negative energy into the tournament.
We really haven't had a crappy no. 2 hitter in awhile Blastings.
(I can recall Marlon Anderson hitting 2nd on more than 1 occasion for Willie Randolph. Credit where it's due.)
Well, with Houston finally running out of steam, it appears there's 3 teams left to fill 2 playoff spots. Let's think positive: as long as Milwaukee chokes more than the Mets do, the Mets are in!

It is absolutely ridiculous that the Mets aren't going to bring up Pascucci with Easley & Tatis out. Did Val sleep with Omar's wife, or something?
Well, like I said, he's probably surfing in California at this point.
And "ahhhhhhhhh" is how I scream. I know it sounds like what you do after you gargle or drink soda.
